Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides several public access routes, but no single office holds the whole Hinsdale County record. HCSO keeps its own incident and arrest material and can identify the receiving jail. Hinsdale Combined Court keeps filed charges, registers of action, and dispositions. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation maintains statewide criminal-history information, while CDOC and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry answer separate corrections and registration questions. We organize those verified channels, fees, contacts, and request steps.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, unaffiliated with any Colorado court, sheriff, police office, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file sealing petitions, records requests, or other paperwork for you
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every changing fee, hour, address, or phone number remains current
Only the issuing office, such as HCSO, Hinsdale Combined Court, or CBI, can furnish an official record. We provide routing, not the document.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are operated by outside providers that control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through a referral may produce revenue that supports this site. We do not determine their charges or guarantee what their tools return.
